Research Ethics

The ethical principles and standards guiding all research activities conducted or supported by Panorama Research Institute.

Integrity and Honesty

All research must be conducted and reported with integrity and honesty. Fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism are strictly prohibited. Researchers must accurately represent their methods, data, and findings.

Research Design and Methodology

Research must be designed and conducted using appropriate and rigorous methodology. Researchers are responsible for ensuring the validity and reliability of their methods and data.

Informed Consent and Participant Protection

Research involving human participants must obtain appropriate informed consent. Participant privacy, confidentiality, and wellbeing must be protected at all stages of the research process.

Data Management and Transparency

Research data must be collected, managed, and stored in accordance with the Institute's Data and Documentation Policy. Data transparency and openness are encouraged wherever possible and appropriate.

Authorship and Attribution

Authorship must reflect genuine intellectual contribution to the research. Honorary or gift authorship is prohibited. All contributors must be appropriately acknowledged.

Peer Review Integrity

Researchers participating in peer review must maintain confidentiality, avoid conflicts of interest, and provide honest and constructive evaluations.

Reporting and Disclosure

Researchers must disclose all relevant affiliations, funding sources, and potential conflicts of interest in publications and presentations.

Handling Misconduct

Allegations of research misconduct are to be reported to the Institute's leadership and will be investigated in accordance with the Institute's governance procedures. Retaliation against those who report misconduct in good faith is prohibited.
